PARKING AT GRACE

Morning Parking
Parking on the streets around Grace Church on Sundays is free. However, as many of us know first hand, finding a space on the street on a Sunday can be tough. To assist with this challenge, Grace has made arrangements with several local parking vendors.
LOT 1: The Guggenheim parking lot
5 free spaces available 8 am–1:30 pm Sundays only
Location: 3121 South St NW, Washington, DC 20007
Who can park there? These spaces are intended for handicap parking and for families with small children. Since this lot is directly behind the church, it is the most accessible of the parking options.
When can you park there? Parking at this lot is available only on Sundays from 8 AM – 1:30 PM. It is not available for weekday parking.
What to do:
- Grab a spot.
- Come to Grace, and get a pass (located in the vestibule at bottom of the stairs).
- Return to your car and place it on your dashboard.
LOT 2: Colonial Parking for AMC Cinema Garage
Has 2-Hour parking with Grace validation ticket
Location: 3177 K St NW Washington DC 20007
Who can park there? Open to everyone.
When can you park there? Parking in this lot is available Sundays and weekdays, but only for 2 hour increments. When parking here, please be cautious of when you arrive and be sure to return to the pay station within two hours of your arrival time.
What to do:
- You will receive a ticket when you enter the garage, please bring this with you to the service.
- Then you can pick up a validation ticket from the basket at the back of the sanctuary.
- If parking during the week, see our Parish Administrator in the Rectory for a validation ticket.
- Before you return to your car, You will scan both tickets (your ticket first, followed by the validation ticket) at the pay station inside the garage.
- Then you may return to your car and exit the garage.
LOT 3: The Georgetown Park garage on Wisconsin Ave
Just north of the C & O Canal offers free 2-Hour parking with a chaser sticker from Grace
Location: 1092 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20007
Who can park there? Open to everyone.
When can you park there? Parking in this lot is available Sundays and weekdays, but only for 2 hour increments. When parking here, please be cautious of when you arrive and be sure to return to your car within two hours of your arrival time.
What to do:
- Enter garage on Wisconsin Ave.
- Take the ticket you receive from the garage with you to Grace.
- Walk out of the garage through the gold doors and exit by Pinstripes.
- Get a sticker from Grace (located at the back of the sanctuary) and affix to the BACK of the parking ticket you received from the garage.
- If parking during the week, see our Parish Administrator in the Rectory for a validation ticket.
- To exit the garage: scan the front of the ticket first, then scan the back of the ticket with the sticker from Grace.
LOT 4: The PMI garage on M Street
Location: PMI Garage at 3307 M Street
Who can park there? Open to everyone. Grace does not offer parking validation at this location, please be sure to pay for you parking if you so choose to utilize this lot.
When can you park there? Parking in this lot is available Sundays and weekdays, but pricing may be subject to change depending on the time and day.
What to do:
- Offering rates of $10 for all day parking.

FAQs
Can I use this Colonial Parking Garage for the AMC Cinema parking pass every Sunday?
Passes are one-time-use only. The pass is valid only on the Sunday for which it is issued. Please be sure to grab a new pass each time you visit Grace!
Is parking free in the Guggenheim lot?
Parking in this lot is free to parishioners. However, it is not free to Grace Church. Contributions to cost the cost of providing this service are welcome.
Occasionally there are yellow cones in the Guggenheim parking lot. Why is this?
On Sundays when there are special events in Georgetown, Grace’s 5 spaces may be marked with cones. If this is the case, please inform the attendant that you’re a Grace parishioner, and he or she will remove a cone so you can park.
