A New Season of Light + April 9 – June 27
Grace Church is excited to be hosting a beautiful art installation again this year. This year’s installation, Madness Method, is by local DC artists, Chris Combs and David Greenfieldboyce, and will feature 200 lanterns that look like an intriguing, flickering mess, but then converge into a little bit of magic.
The 7th edition of Georgetown GLOW has shifted to Spring and Summer 2021 – an extended, two-part series featuring a total of eight art works, including six by local DC artists, to ensure a safer and more comfortable visitor experience.
Spring GLOW kicked off Friday, April 9 and runs through Sunday, June 27. Local and regional artists will show five commissioned artworks viewable by day, and brighter by night. Each artwork location will allow for social distancing, and masks will be required. In addition to the installations, Spring GLOW programming will include in-person and virtual options – from walking tours to artist talks.
Following Spring GLOW, visitors are invited back for Summer GLOW featuring three artworks that will transform Georgetown’s public alleys, July 2 – September 26.
