Come to the Table — Grace’s Table
Beth Lee coordinates this ministry. Grace’s Table offers a brown bag meal for 40 to 60 of our homeless neighbors and their friends every Saturday at 11:30 a.m. There are many ways to help. Members and friends of Grace can volunteer to:
- Help hand out lunches, and visit with our homeless guests
- Help assemble lunches prior to serving
- Help with set-up and clean-up
- Visit with guests
Via “GTvolunteers@GraceDC.org“, Beth will send out a schedule on or near the first of the month, indicating what’s needed for each Saturday of the month. If you’d like to be on this distribution list, or think you might be on it but aren’t sure, let Beth Lee know. To volunteer in any of the ways listed above, or with questions, email GracesTable@GraceDC.org ; your message will reach Beth Lee.

Be a Coffee Host
Offered every Sunday after the second worship service, the coffee hour at Grace Church has been named one of the best in the city by Washington City Paper. Several parishioners are known for pulling out all the stops to put on an elegant spread, while others provide simple fare that’s also wonderful. The true highlight of coffee hour each week is the time spent in fellowship with Grace members and visitors alike. Contact Helen Buhr, Helen.Buhr@GraceDC.org , or look for her at coffee hour if you would like to help.
