+++FIRST SUNDAY: 9:45 a.m. Young Singers rehearse, then sing during the 10:00 a.m. service

+++SECOND SUNDAY: 10:00 a.m. Sunday School lesson

+++THIRD SUNDAY: 10:00 a.m. Children’s Chapel: Bible story, Shared Reflection, Prayers +++Sunday School Lesson

+++FOURTH SUNDAY: 10:00 a.m. Young Minds/Hard Questions with the Rector +++Sunday School Lesson

+++FIFTH SUNDAYS: 10:30 a.m. Youth Sundays children and youth participate in 10:30 service.

Young Singers

Young Singers join the adult choir in the loft on the first Sunday of every month. Children of all ages encouraged to come and sing along!

Children's Chapel

The third Sunday of every month, during 10:30 a.m. service (September through May), or the 10:00 a.m. service (June through August); Rev. Sarah Motley leads Grace's children in a simple service including Holy Communion, helping younger members learn how to participate in the church's prayers and praises.

Young Minds, Hard Questions

The fourth Sunday of every month,during 10:30 a.m. service (September through May), or the 10:00 a.m. service (June through August) ; John Graham meets with Sunday School students 8 and older to consider Bible passages that pose difficult issues for children and adults alike; discussions prepare participants to deliver the sermon on Youth Sundays, which take place on the fifth Sunday of months with five Sundays.

Youth Sunday

Children and young people lead the service and give the sermon on every fifth Sunday of a month - four times a year. Preparation takes place in "Young Minds, Hard Questions", on the fourth Sunday of every month (see below). Read Henry Carter's Sermon, Youth Sunday, June 30, 2019

Witness and Service in our Community

Grace's Table

This ministry of Grace welcomes homeless neighbors every Saturday at 11:30 for a meal prepared with love, followed by an interfaith Bible study. Read more here. For more information, and to volunteer, contact Rev. John Graham: gracestable@gracedc.org, or 202-333-7100.

Good Faith Communities Coalition

Grace is a founding member of GFCC, an alliance of faith communities in the District of Columbia serving persons who are homeless and marginalized. Its mission is to bear witness in the public arena with and on behalf of our homeless neighbors, to the end of securing adequate and affordable housing for all District residents.
